Volunteering: "Something I will always do!"

I have been volunteering for 7 months now, and it is something I love doing so when Keele advertised SVW I just had to get involved!

I currently study a science based subject so choosing a day out volunteering at Silverdale Country Park seemed very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the day learning about conservation & wildlife and I also enjoyed meeting with new people! In the same week I volunteered at Camoys Court Care Home, where we met with residents to create a lovely piece of artwork- a nice relaxing day away from the library!

I have recommended volunteering to many people now as I believe that volunteering brings people together and is important because gives something back to the community- it is something I will always do!
